Founded in 1971 in Botterens Switzerland, Mecaplast Swiss has been active ever since in the plastic injection molding for the industry and the luxury sectors. With the change of ownership in 2002 to Mr Jean-Marc Jaccottet, the company operated a major shift and heavily invested in new facilities and equipment to serve the fast-growing demand of the Pharma and Medical Device industry. Since 2004 and the opening of its first ISO 7 clean room, Mecaplast Swiss holds ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certifications.

The company operates a 18’000 sqm site, of which 6’000 sqm are dedicated to production facilities and offices, allowing for further expansions. Its state-of-the art equipment pool enables injection of all types of thermoplastics, from basic to high performance ones, as well as biopolymers in either standard or ISO 7 environment. Half of its equipment is operated in clean environment! A pool of around 100 engineers, specialists and highly skilled professionals ensure full spectrum of services to deliver finished, ready-to-use medical products. The scale of CMO services offered by Mecaplast Swiss goes far beyond plastic injection and includes engineering, prototyping, mold making, plastic injection, thermoforming, assemblies, including plastic, metal and electronic components, as well as packaging.

Committed to quality and innovation, Mecaplast Swiss, has continuously expended its equipment, teams, premises and offer while determined to remain agile and fulfill requests for customized productions from a few pieces to several millions.

Since early April 2023 Mecaplast Swiss proudly operates a brand new 300 square meters ISO 7 clean room which adds up to the existing 700 square meters clean rooms to offer world class Pharma and MedTech companies fully integrated services and delivery of ready to use products.
