IMR produces aluminium alloy powders for additive manufacturing (AM)-technologies such as laser powder bed fusion (Powder Bed Fusion - Laser Beam/Metal - PBF-LB/M) using its patented atomisation technology and specific preparation processes to meet the quality criteria agreed in close cooperation with our customers, including parameters such as particle size distribution, morphology, particle density and flow behaviour in combination with exact chemical composition and low gas contents of oxygen, hydrogen and nitrogen.
