About us

The Innovation Booster Additive Manufacturing (IBAM) aims to open up the potential of additive manufacturing, also known as 3D printing, for interested stakeholders from industry, research and society. These actors can develop, test and validate promising applications and product ideas with existing and new technologies and materials. IBAM can support successful project submissions, which are evaluated by experts, with up to CHF 25,000.

IBAM is the successor of the well-known AM network, which was established from 2017 to 2020 with the support of Innosuisse. The renewed funding by Innosuisse for the period 2021 - 2024 is primarily aimed at promoting innovation. In addition, we continue to plan and support networking events. IBAM is supported by consortium members from industry and academia. The board members and key personnel are proven experts in AM, networking and business development. They are all active in their own companies or work in companies or research institutes.
