Laser - Infrared- Texture - professional 3d scanning with the EinScan Rigil
The EinScan Rigil from Shining 3D can scan autonomously or via wireless transmission to a computer in high resolution using laser and infrared light – including texture and markerless scan modes, and even in sunlight.
The EinScan Rigil is a laser 3d scanner that achieves an accuracy of 0.04 mm + 0.06 mm/m and a resolution of up to 0.05 mm. It can handle dark and reflective surfaces even without scanning spray.
With 19 crossed laser lines, i.e. a total of 38 laser lines, it allows for fast scanning, while delivering highly detailed results in 7-parallel-line mode. The two laser modes can also be combined during a single scan. If sufficient features are available on the object to scan, no markers are required. The working distance is between 170 mm and 550 mm. Up to 4.4 million points per second can be captured. Even in sunlight, the laser modes can still be used.
It is supplemented by an infrared mode (IR VCSEL diodes) for markerless scanning (if sufficient features and/or texture is available). The IR mode also allows scanning in full sunlight. The working distance in IR mode ranges from 160 mm to an incredible 1500 mm! In this mode, the scanner can also capture the texture (surface colors) of the scanned object, which it does with a high-quality 5-megapixel camera.
The scanner itself is powered by two replaceable, powerful 6000 mAh batteries and has 32 GB of RAM on board. It writes the data to a 1 TB SSD memory in standalone mode. This allows it to capture up to 50 frames per second (FPS) in standalone mode. If paired with a PC via Wi-Fi, it can even achieve up to 70 FPS.
When paired with the EXScan Rigil software on the PC, the Rigil can also scan in a special mode in which the infrared signal is used for markerless tracking and, at the same time, scans with high precision in laser mode.
The Rigil itself has a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen. In addition, the display can also be transferred to another device via Wi-Fi (wireless screen casting).
At the DIM3NSIONS booth, you can experience and try out the EinScan Rigil and its many possibilities live!
