Until recently, we were known as Steiner Werkzeugmaschinen AG. With strong growth in the field of additive manufacturing and the associated expansion of our range of services, we decided to reflect this transformation in our name as well. The new name, Steiner CNC – AM Technologies AG, represents our current identity as a modern Swiss technology company offering comprehensive manufacturing solutions – flexible, efficient, and sustainable.
Since 2006, the family-owned business has also been the official Swiss representative of 3DSystems and has since specialized in the field of additive manufacturing. Founded in 1986 and headquartered in Rock Hill (USA), 3DSystems is considered the inventor of the stereolithography 3D printing process. It is an international manufacturer of 3D printing systems and a leading company in additive manufacturing, setting new standards in terms of surface quality, design possibilities, and precision. In addition to producing 3D printing systems, 3DSystems also develops its own materials to meet the specific requirements of 3D printing and offers a portfolio of printing technologies including DMP, SLS, DLP, MJP, and CJP.
